Very complete repositories for Ubuntu Edgy Ubuntu and Ubuntu gutsy hardy with the keys

For the Hardy version, must be changed in all the lines, the Edgy word by word by word gutsy or hardy.

You need only put in the file / etc / apt / sources.list lines that begin with deb and deb-src.

If you copy this file as well this works, because the lines are commented out with # informative.

1 .- Open as a root text editor.

2 .- Copy and paste the following file.(1)

3 .- Save as: / etc / apt / sources.list

4 .- Open a terminal.

5 .- Write and give it to enter its

6 .- Enter the root password.

7 .- Writing

aptitude update

And ENTER intro.

To download the updates you have just indicated in the file / etc / apt / sources.list

8 .- Writing

aptitude dist-upgrade

And ENTER intro.

To perform the update.

Never use Synaptic or apt-get, or the Automatic Updates Update-managed, since none solves the units as well as the command aptitude. Greetings.

NOTE: To lower the keys, open a terminal and write for example wget http://www.kubuntu.org/announcements/kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg | sudo apt-key add

That is, wget followed by the url for downloading the key and apt-key add to enter the key.
